Dior Unveils the Largest High Jewelry Collection in Taormina, Sicily

On Saturday, Victoire de Castellane launched the house’s largest high jewelry collection to date with 137 pieces “Dior print” in Taormina, Sicily. Just a while after the opening of Dior new boutique in Corso Umberto I.

“Taormina is an unbelievable, magic place, it’s crazy beautiful,” said Pietro Beccari, CEO and Chairman of Dior

Dior’s haute couture tradition has always been a source of inspiration for Victoire de Castellane, where Dior Print, achieves the technical feat of transposing fabric designs like stripes, floral patterns, checks, and tie-dye onto three-dimensional high jewelry items.

The jewelry designer used diamonds, emeralds, rubies, multicolored sapphires, tsavorite, Paraiba tourmalines, red spinel and other precious and semi-precious stones; and Maria Grazia Chiuri, Dior’s Artistic Director of womenswear, designed 40 couture pieces for the gala.

The event is being held from June 3 to 8, 2022.
